Upon his return to the US, Anthony opened his acupuncture practice in Suffern, NY and Morristown, NJ. Anthony pursued further education in Classical Daoist Herbology, studying for three years with Jeffrey Yuen at the Swedish Institute in NYC. In 2000, Anthony and his family moved to Ithaca, NY, where they established a private practice, naming the business Peaceful Spirit Acupuncture.

In addition to maintaining his practice in Ithaca, Anthony is an Adjunct Instructor in the Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine graduate school of the New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY. He teaches Tai Ji Quan, and the History and Philosophy of Chinese Medicine, a course he designed and composed. He has been on the teaching staff since the program began in 2003.

Anthony has studied martial arts for twenty years, including Aikido, Iaido, Yang style Tai Ji Quan, and both Daoist and Buddhist Qi Gong.

Pat Dolson, Office Manager, has had several careers. Trained in Theater Lighting and Design at Ithaca College and Carnegie-Mellon University, she worked in regional theatre in New York, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Massachusetts. Changing direction, Pat returned to Ithaca to work at a vice president’s office in Cornell University. She used early first word processors and became interested in computing and database design. Wanting to live and work in New York City, she relocated to NYC in 1981 to begin an 18-year career with AT&T. While working at AT&T headquarters in NJ, she met Anthony at an introductory Aikido class. Years later, they married. Pat retired from AT&T in 1998, the better to assist Anthony with his work, and to help create Peaceful Spirit Acupuncture.
